Take a journey...

...through deep forests, cold mountain streams, windswept salt marshes, and ocean beaches. Along the way, cross a covered bridge to enter the world of a traditional New England farm. On your journey through our Berkshires to the Sea exhibits you'll encounter black bears, mountain lions, bobcats, river otters, bald eagles, seals, and many other animals. We also have Asian elephants, North American bison, and one of the finest rare breed, farm animal collections in the United States. Nominated for two Nickelodeon Parents’ Picks Awards!

# The Buttonwood Park Zoo is nationally accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. It was established in 1894 and is the 12th oldest zoo in the United States.

# In the AZA's 2003 accreditation report, the team of zoo professionals who visited the Zoo called Buttonwood Park Zoo "one of the finest small zoos in the United States".

# The Buttonwood Park Zoological Society is a private, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that provides funding for educational programming and organizes family events for families and the community.

# The public funds the Zoo one-third for operational costs, and the remainder comes from earned incomes and the fundraising activities of the BPZS.

Admission Fees Adult: $6 • Senior: $4.50 • Teens: $4.50 • Child 3-12 yr: $3.00 • Child under 3: Free
